Just watching the speed and intricacies of his playing gives me arthritis

Such a beautiful piece

The fact he's playing that piece with a pick makes it even more impressive.

Clark was an outstanding guitarist, in some ways it's almost tragic that most people identify him with the cornpone humor of his Hee Haw characters.

By the way, for another take on "Malaguena" check out this rendition by a then-62 (but possibly 66, or maybe even 72)-year old Charo.

This.

You really had to be a music/guitar nerd to know about him. In the 1970's!!!! No YouTube. All the masses had was Hee-Haw. While he played stuff like this during a he haw episode, most people probably went to the fridge to to the pisser.

To be fair, as great a musician as Clark was, he was also extremely funny. An all around great talent.

I can't remember exactly what Waylon or Merle said, but it was something like Glen Campbell had more talent in his pinky finger than all other country music artists had in their entire body. Whichever one said it was right.

But to OP-Roy Clark was an amazing talent.
