Just finished watching. Dave might be a nicer guy, but the material Roger plays wins out for me. The show was recorded a couple of years ago, but some of the video backdrops are eerily on the nose with what's been going on the last few weeks. Worth the $15, looks and sounds great, and two worthy musical journeys from ANIMALS, my fave PF album.

ETA: includes bonus tracks Comfortably Numb and Smell The Roses, which apparently weren't in the theatrical release (I wouldn't know, it wasn't shown here).

Nah...frick Roger Waters...not giving him a dime more.

I sat through that show two years ago and put up with 2 hours of his childish videos.

Get over it Roger, your daddy died...so did tens of millions of others, so you could become a $600,000,000aire from the very country you bash.

Waters...what a self-righteous a-hole.

I am one of the biggest Floyd fans on the planet and I agree with you 100%. I really figured Roger would have learned something from his early life mistakes but he didnt. His recent crying about David and the Pink Floyd brand proved that

Roger is still emotionally 14. Probably what drove a wedge between himself and the other band members. Firing Rick (who needed help, not unemployment) was probably the Rubicon he couldn't uncross with David and Nick.

If Rick had lived a little while longer, I think there might have been a little better reconciliation than the 1-off Live 8 show. As it is, that, along with The Endless River will have to do.

What a great, great band (and Roger was a big part of it), though.

Gilmore > Waters

But I wish they could play one last show together before one of them dies.

Love Pink Floyd. Waters is a very talented songwriter but a total a-hole. If you watch any interview with him, you'll understand immediately why Pink Floyd split up.

I mean, the fricker tried to sue his former band mates over the Pink Floyd name. What a douchebag.

Roger may be all the things y'all are saying, but I'm sure David will be just fine without my help. I'm not either of their accountants or business managers, I've got no personal stake in their day to day lives, and my not seeing Roger wouldn't improve David's life as a result... so unless Roger is diddling kids or something on that level, I'm gonna at least check out what's ticking with him.

I saw this tour stop in Atlanta a few years ago, but after watching the video last night, much of the visual aspects of it looked like this show could've been recorded a week ago, never mind 2017 or 2018. For whatever his shortcomings are with his former bandmates, I appreciate that Roger isn't safely mailing it in with a golden oldies nostalgia trip, and for that reason alone he's earned my 15 bucks.

The show I went to on that tour was pretty epic. It may be in the top 5 shows I have ever seen. The setlist was perfect. The visuals and sound were spot on as well. So glad I went.

I as well. I purposely avoided any spoilers before the show I attended, so I nearly lost my mind when I saw the Battersea Power Station emerge from the middle of the arena. Definite epicness.

I will give credit to Roger in his post-Floyd era - he has surrounded himself with good people and delivers a show for the money. The musicians he puts on stage with him are top shelf.

I'm not taking that away from him, although I think his sound people have been covering for his vocal shortcomings since before autotune, particularly live.

I agree with all of this. Easily one of the best shows I've ever seen. Definitely the best show I've seen in an arena-sized venue.

Not the same without David Gilmour's soulful tone.

Waters was the superior songwriter, but he required Gilmour to round out his material. Waters trended toward the obscure. Gilmore brought fantastic musicianship and grounded the songs.
