Saw his Christmas Show last year in Houston. Sounded great. I was shitfaced though. So he may have sounded terrible and I could not hear him over my own squealing vocals.
Saw another show here in Katy about 3-4 years ago. It was AWESOME. His guitarist who was mentioned earlier was playing that show. Like watching Dave Matthews guy (Tim Reynolds?) play. He's so good he makes you want to buy him a beer then break his left hand because you will never be that good.

Strangely enough he's my cousin He's gotten a lot of flak for "selling out", but he puts on some pretty good shows.

One thing he didn't sell out was the Bijou theater in Knoxville. This is the first time I've seen him in the last 15 years or so that it hasn't been a sell out.

REK is just getting old. His shows are different than they were 20+ years ago, but he still gives you your moneys worth imho.
