I loved all forms of punk growing up...they're not terrible.

I don't have much respect for them after "hero of war"

they've seemed aimless after The Sufferer & The Witness, which has been disappointing. I just haven't been able to get into the last two albums. Can't be too mad though...they gave me some songs that will never come off my gym playlist (Drones, Black Masks & Gasoline, Give it All, etc)

Saw them back in '06 or '07 at Bogarts in Cincinnati and afterwards I was more physically exhausted from that set than any I'd ever seen. One of my favorite concerts ever.

They're early stuff is good pre run/workout music. Other than that they kind of suck.

I like them a lot. They were absolutely incredible at the House of Blues in New Orleans back in January. Let's face it, most new rock sucks. Of the rock bands still making music, Rise Against is one of the best. I'd put them on the same level or just below under Foo Fighters and Chevelle.

I liked them more before I knew they were Vegan socialists.

Chevelle isn't on the same level as Foo Fighters.

Chevelle is many, many, many levels below Foo Fighters.

Actually, Chevelle sucks dog nuts compared to Foo FIghters.

I don't really agree with their politics, but their first album was good.
