One of the most iconic voices in country music and also one of the all time greats. Some of his well-known recordings include "Release Me", "Crazy Arms", "City Lights","Heartaches by the Number", "For the Good Times", "Night Life", and "Don't you ever get tired (of hurting me)".
RIP
Ray Price

We still have Little Jimmy Dickens. I wouldn't put him on the same level as Price, but he's still a country music icon because of his longevity. He's like 92 and still performs

Gitarzan was the first album my brothers and I ever bought. We split it three ways, back in 1969. We drove our parents insane by playing it endlessly.

I was lucky to see him about 5 years ago at the Willie Nelson July 4th picnic here in Houston....great voice still at that age, and put on a hell of a show

Saw Jerry Lee Lewis when I lived in Mississippi (2000), he played the Broiler fest in Forest, MS. Buddy and I drove over from Brandon. It was in a rodeo arena, the stage was setup at the end, the doors at the end opened and a long white limo came in rode around and stopped in front of the stage...out walked the killer to his piano and immediately started jamming. Played his set and walked off into the limo and drove off...it was awesome
Saw Merle few times and Willie several times, would love to see Chuck and Fats...but that just isn't going to happen.
