sad to see the legend of the surf guitar pass .... was fortunate enough to have produced three performances in BR over a 15 year span. A kind and passionate man who still brought it later in life.

One of the better shows to come through Mud & Water (Bernie Worrell or Shaky Graves are my two personal favorite). He started off the show by ripping on the sound guy

Saw ole Dick at Howlin' Wolf a couple years ago and was damn glad I did. The man basically pioneered an entire genre. Few can claim that.

Any time you see big wave surfing,Dick Dale's guitar starts up.

Not many musicians are so connected to something.

It's really like he wrote the music for surfing.

RIP Dick Dale.
