recommend some bluesy type stuff

So I'm looking for someone that wails (not sure how to spell that) on the guitar and has an authentic type voice...
Don't know a ton from the dept, but I really dig John Mayer, Jason isbell, sturgill simpson....
Not a lot of new stuff comes to mind on this type of music, looking to see if there is some good stuff in missing out in
ETA: I'm sure I'm going to get some flack for considering those artists bluesy...but as I said, I want to learn

But man, live versions of this stuff are 1000 times better than the album
