Ready to rock out this weekend with the RATT Pack. Only two original members -Stephen Pearcy -the voice of RATT and Juan Croucier - the other voice of RATT and bassist. Checked the set list and the only track I see missing is “Tell the World”, one of my favorites. Hoping for the best.

I'm a RATT fanatic & even I can't support this abomination of a lineup. No Warren Demartini, no RATT. Stephen Pearcy sounds so bad now.

Could be worse....Pearcy could look and sound like Vince Neil. In my opinion, a band’s identity has a lot to do with the voice and to a lesser degree, the other musicians. If Pearcy wasn’t on vocals, we wouldn’t even be talking about it.

I honestly thought Pearcy was dead. I know Robin Crosby died. What about Bobby Blotzer?

Blotz hasn't been with the other original members since he struck out his own with Bobby Blotzer's RATT with 4 other guys off the street causing even more litigation among the members. RATT is in the running for most dysfunctional band ever.
I saw them on the last tour about 6 years ago with the 4 remaining original members along with Carlos Cavazos of Quiet Riot taking over for Robin & they sounded great but as usual, Pearcy sounded like crap & looked like an anorexic vampire.

I saw RATT in August 2008 @ the Texas Club a couple of days before Hurricane Gustav hit South Louisiana. The lineup consisted of Pearcy, DeMartini, Cavazo, Robbie Crane on bass and Blotzer on drums. There was only about 300-400 people in the club and that’s being generous. They sounded great and put on a great show. If Pearcy’s voice sounds that bad now, he must have really declined since then because he sounded like the voice on the record at that show.
Even if Pearcy does sound like garbage at the show this weekend, I’ll still have a great time for the nostalgia/novelty aspect of it, if nothing else.

Bringing the wife and kid. In fact we’re staying at Hard Rock tonight - took my son to see Judas Priest at the Beau tonight, so brought the wife along to spend the night at Hard Rock. Coming back Saturday for Ratt.

RATT put on an incredibly good show. They surpassed my expectations by a mile. Enjoyed it even more than Judas Priest a couple nights ago.

It was a GREAT show to a packed house. They played all the hits except for “Tell the World” which I have always liked. They were very tight and nailed every song. I’ve heard people say Pearcy’s voice is not what it once was. bullshite. He rocked. They got two very young guitarists who are very talented. They must have listened when the fans said they wanted to hear “Way Cool Jr” because they inserted it into the set list. Great show and worth every dime for the tickets.
