Stumbled across this when looking for a song on the Underrated Song Thread. While I was never a fan of her..this girl has some pipes as well a certain sexiness about her.

I imagine not many people could keep in key with the guitar at the 6 minutes mark. Enjoy

Voice
Stage Persona
Sexiness
Courage
Attitude

She had a very expressive and adaptable voice, but you typically tune the guitar to the voice, not the other way around.

I think this is a Louisiana rhythm section - Brady Blade (drums) is from Shreveport and Tony Hall (bass) is in Dumpstaphunk, which is a New Orleans outfit.

I think her 1997 performance of Foolish Games is one of the GOAT's.

I do believe he has the nickname Thibodaux Tony...

ETA: he grew up early in Nola but spent youth and teens in Thibodaux.

Dude has played with damn near everyone it seems.

There is a photo you can probably find on a search online of very young Ivan with Keith Richards on tour in the 80s. It’s pretty pimp.

Jewel is a boss though, sorry for thread hijack.

Jewel was always a little too pretentious for me, but she IS talented....

Plus I've got a thing for girls with a slight snaggle-tooth, so...

I am glad I got to go to concerts in the 90's, way better than today, crowds are generally lame these days.
