Rank the Coldplay Albums

1. Viva La Vida or Death and all his Friends - I really do think it was their best work from top to bottom. Some real classic, masterpieces on that album.
2. A Rush of Blood to the Head - this was a close one compared to Parachutes, but I enjoy this album more.
3. Parachutes
4. X and Y - I still love this album. I don't think it is diverse as their others though.
5. Mylo Xyloto - has some real good tracks on here, but this one is definitely my least favorite Coldplay album.

So far, most people enjoy their earlier stuff compared to the new. Interesting. Mine is kind of a whirlwind, but I think we can all agree that Mylo Xyloto is the clear cut last.

I pretty much agree with the OP, I like all the albums, but I can literally listen to Viva from start to end and never get tired of that album. I also think I like Viva because it was the album they were playing when I saw them live in NOLA.
