I saw a new video of theirs on CMT tonight. Song was called "itz what we do" I think? Yes, it said itz.

I know LB said she had a friend who worked with FGL. I gotta know- did that friend ever mention how big of a douchebag those guys are? They have to be extremely large douches.

I had to watch the video just to see how bad it was after aeeing the title. The long haired guy spent more time in a wife beater and adjusting chains on him than he did singing. At the end of the video (a live footage video) you see him shirtless. This guy is constantly trying so hard to be a badass and/or a rapper. And the other guy just seems like a complete tool.

So, LB, I am asking you. Have you ever gotten the skinny on these guys? I'd love to hear.

Is this a trap?

Seriously, though...my friend puts up with a lot of ribbing from us but he has never said a single disparaging word about his employers...probably because they pay him a lot of money.

HOWEVER

Some of our other friends have met and spent time with the FGL dudes and apparently they're really laid back and not all that douchey in person. They are also EXTREMELY generous and treat their staff like gold. They fly B private everywhere he goes now, and the guys always put together these awesome excursions for their crew. They get him into the best events and concerts (including 9th row seats and VIP passes for George Strait). There are a lot of benefits, and apparently they are very easy to work for.

My buddy maintains that it is the best job he's ever had. By all accounts, they are very nice guys. That is probably true, but I still hate them for what they have done to music.

P.S. Their latest single is called "This is How We Roll" and it's a total fricking abortion.

Dang that is really interesting. To know they are actually good dudes is a positive. I just wish they'd go away from country

Thanks for the input though!
