Quarantine Shows

Anyone else been catching these quarantine shows on stageit.com put on by stuck at home musicians? So far I’ve caught Rhett Miller (Old 97s), Justin Osborne (SUSTO), Tommy & Carter and Womack separately (Futurebirds). Typically they are pay what you want and you can tip and chat by text during the show. A great way to support touring bands LINK
They’re pretty cool. You get the stories behind songs, etc. No college girls talking during the entire show and the tallest dude in the joint hasn’t stood in front of me yet.
Feel free to share any previous shows or upcoming events

Great thing. Will try & talk my main artist into this.
My friends are losing their collective shite. It’s normally the time of year when rehearsals and tours fire up. This things screws everybody from front of house engineers to cable techs and merch vendors.
There’s still a little custom work, some studio & writing going on, but everything else has ground to a deafening halt.

Sure thing. The artist I’m viewing are selling hundreds of tickets each show. I’m imagining the fans are paying what they would at a live show. I am and I’m also buying tour merchandise off them for the tour that never happened. I feel so bad for these artists.

Between the Buried and Me posted their live DVD of Coma Ecliptic since they had to cancel shows. Great show if you're into prog metal.

Evan Felker should use this as an opportunity to resurface.
