I think Professor Griff made some anti Semitic remarks about White Jew Devils in an interview in the early 90's. Mtv reported it maybe once or twice during the day. I'm sure they were totally shocked.

Griff got kicked out of the group for it.
Chuck D is one of the most incisive social critics of his, or any, era. Hip hop could use some acts who had even a tenth of his ability at social critique. The whole genre is becoming a minstrel show for white people's enjoyment, and it's just sad to see that happening. The whole movement has been defanged.
Chuck D wasn't racist, he was angry. And as they sampled, "I got a right to be hostile."
