Anyone been listening to them? They've only been out for a year and only have about 10 songs. They are mostly heavy with a little electronica. All the songs are bangers in my opinion. They are headlining a tour starting this month. They have a new album coming out in a week or so, so that'll give them enough music to headline a tour. Their shows sold out in a day.

Agreed. Hate the stupid commercial mask gimmick. But I’d be lying if I said a few of their bops haven’t wound up on my playlists.

The gimmick is dumb. It's so obviously Charlie Simpson as he has a very particular and recognizable voice. It's also annoying because it's clearly a rip off of Sleep Token. They even share the same management.
Having said all that, I do really like a few of their songs.
Charlie Simpson's previous band Fightstar has some really good stuff and he's collaborated a lot with Gunship as they were both in Fightstar together

My wife is a huge fan, so I hear President all day, every day in my house. I like In the Name of the Father.
And yes, Charlie used a lot of tech and processing on his voice at the beginning but with every new song they release it gets more and more clear that it’s him. I’ve seen some live footage of them preforming and I have to wonder how much longer he will wear that stupid mask, he was sweating buckets.

You've got a cool wife... mine said "you're almost 50, you're not supposed to listen to that kind of music". I said that's what keeps me feeling young. I can't get her to listen to any new music. She does have a few Stephen Wilson Jr. songs rotating on her playlist , now.
I was at an In Flames concert next to the mosh pit. Someone pushed me in it so I had to make about 7 laps around it. Wife text and said Life360 said I was riding a bicycle. Lol

My neighbor is cousins with Courtney Laplante from Spiritbox so she hooked me up with some sick seats for their show here a last month
Going to see Loathe in 3 weeks and can't wait

Meanwhile the guys in Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and a bunch of other big name bands are in their 60-70s and still going strong.

Their new album dropped today. 10 sings, but 5 have been released so it was only 5 songs I haven't heard, yet.
While looking for the album last night I found a channel where a guy runs their music through ai software and gets acoustic versions of their songs. I like some of those as much as their originals.

Think bruvs is referring to listening to younger artists that the younger crowd is listening to.

Sweet. I'm trying not to show her too much Dying Wish or Gaerea beforehand so she doesn't back out.
