Tuesday 7/27 at 8 PM Central. Should be worth watching if you like Buddy and the blues.

And beforehand at 7 PM is something on Chuck Berry.

Saw Buddy in a small club in Houston called Rockefeller's. It was awesome. Got his autograph. Then went to a bar called the Velvet Elvis and had a good ole time until closing. 3/3/96

I've only seen him later in his career, a couple of times at Jazz Fest and BR Blues Fest. It's amazing the energy he brings to the stage in his 80s.

I saw him in 2016 in Lafayette, La. He could still bend the shite out of some chords being how old he was 5 years ago.

He had a 15-16 year old boy with him that was unreal on guitar. I wish I could remember his name..

Was able to meet Buddy in 94 when I was the DJ on the KLSU show. With the help of Raful Neal and Buddy’s brother Sam I got to go to his family reunion in BR and interview Buddy. He was so nice. Just an amazing performer.

Thanks for the post. I saw this too late to catch the Tuesday airing, but it looks like it airs again July 29 at 2 am. Set to record.

I’ve seen Buddy a couple of times. Great shows.

Saw him maybe 10 or 11 years ago. Dude popped a string and then used the pop string to whip the other strings on the riff. It was amazing.

Saw him about 8 years ago open for the Stones. His set was a real snooze fest.
