Paul Simon in toubled waters.. arrested for domestic violence.

Singer Paul Simon has been arrested in New Canaan, Connecticut, on a domestic violence charge, according to police.
New Canaan police planned to hold a news briefing at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, but said that will not happen and a news release will be issued.
The 72-year-old Grammy-award winning singer lives in New Canaan.
Simon is married to folk singer Edie Brickell. They were married in 1992 and have three children together.

and from what I have learned about DV, I wouldn't put a ton of stock in the judicial outcomes. I don't support DV in any way shape or form, but seriously the trouble you can get in without any proof is astounding.

In the irony dept., TMZ shows Simon with a diamond-shaped bruise on his face, reportedly from an expensive pair of shoes bought for Edie as an anniversary gift.
*** apparently the altercation occured late in the evening after she called him Al mid-coitus.

The call was made from their house...by a houseguest. I bet that person won't be invited back anytime soon
