I know there was some talks last year about a reunion. That would be pretty awesome.

i've never brought a totem before, if you can find a way to ditch captain you should come party at our RV though. I guess he can come to, but he is kind of mean and i don't want him to come and harsh my mell. last year i stood on the front left corner of the soundboard every day. also my phone died the first night last year so I am going to bring my walkie talkies this year, you should bring one or two and ill let yall know what channel im on.

2014 has not been kind to Gregg Allman. The co-founding member of The Allman Brothers Band already has battled bronchitis and a wrist injury, both of which led to the postponement/cancellation of shows earlier this year. The second half of the year doesn't seem to be looking much better for the keyboardist/vocalist, who - according to The Oregonian - checked himself into a hospital on Monday.

There's been no details released about what's currently ailing Gregg, but our first hint of trouble came yesterday when Allman officially postponed his Tuesday night show in Boise, ID. While there's no word on Allman's official website and Facebook at press time about the status of the rest of the solo shows he had planned for this week/weekend, each of the venues Gregg was set to play have announced that Gregg has cancelled. A performance that was supposed to take place in Seattle tonight has been cancelled outright, while a July 5th Gregg Allman show in Spokane, WA has been postponed.

This Sunday Gregg was supposed to make a headlining appearance at the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland, OR. The festival's artistic director, Peter Dammann, held a press conference yesterday, where he revealed Gregg had cancelled. According to The Oregonian, after Dammann heard that Allman had cancelled last night's show, he reached out to the singer's agent. "This morning I called up his agent and said, 'What's going on?' They said, 'We're evaluating, we'll get back to you.' A couple hours later, I got a note from management that said, 'We're canceling the whole tour.' They didn't give us any specifics on what's happening with Gregg," Dammann said.

We hope Gregg gets well soon and is able to put this barrage of health issues behind him. Allman has a number of solo gigs scheduled this summer and also is set to play the Peach Music Festival and Lockn' with The Allman Brothers Band, before the group brings their 45-year tenure to a close with a run of shows at the Beacon Theatre in October.
