Jack White is one of the few great rockstars left. STS9 is a bunch of tree thuggers who play to a crowd of mahl-snorting morons.

Easy decision: Jack White

Whats with the hour long sets for earlier acts?

Only an hour of the Alabama Shakes? And I only get an hour of Randy Newman?!

I think an hour to 1.5 hrs is standard for earlier acts huh? Randy is old and prob can't be out in the heat too long.

I just checked my emails and I got tickets to Phish at Oak Mtn!!!!

Thats about what it was last year. They're all an hour this year. And I realize the later bands have longer sets this year, but there are less bands, so back to my original question-WTF?

But he'll be in the shade.

I have seen DMB three times and I honestly would rather go dominate the Flora~Bama for my last night in Orange Beach.

updated the OP to include the grounds map and info that was sent in the hangout e-newsletter.

We’ve moved and expanded both the Xbox and Letting Go stages, in order to create a bigger, more comfortable viewing experience for fans. We’re also offering festival goers the chance to get wet and wild with The Chevrolet Ride ‘N Slide, a giant inflatable 40-foot waterslide, as well as the addition of a second swimming pool to the main stage VIP viewing area, charging stations and much more

so Xbox stage is electronic tent? Wahoo for waterslides!

Festival Map
The map of our expanded Hangout site, including 3 new entrances, roomier boardwalk, and new offerings and activations is now available

got our shuttle bus wristbands yesterday

In addition to our awesome array of food vendors, we're happy to announce our new Hangout Seafood Tent, proudly sponsored by Alabama Gulf Seafood. This fully air-conditioned, 60 x 100 ft. indoor area will provide the Gulf's best catches. Whatever your favorite is—fish, crab, shrimp or oysters—you can bet we’ll have it fresh and ready, Alabama-style, from a state that takes pride in our world-class seafood industry.

Rocking out on the beach can work up a serious thirst! We're pleased to offer festival goers the refreshments of Budweiser, Dos Equis, Woodchuck Cider, great frozen libations from Cordina, and Red Diamond Wines, official beverages of Hangout Music Festival.

I saw STS9 Saturday night at Nocturnal. They opened with NIN's "Closer", and it was amazing.

That's what I'm saying. How can this be a tough decision? Oh well, go ahead to STS9. More room for me at Jack White.
