FWIW I’ve done MANY deep dives over the last year when this thing was announced and I got tickets.
It’s pretty commonly agreed upon that their relationship is actually better than is perceived by the public and has been for a good part of a decade. Likely a bit of showmanship in the media as they’ve aged, gotten more mellow, and knew that dragging this “feud” out in the British media would result in this exact demand for a reunion.
Yeah, it's definitely been played up quite a bit. But Liam popping off about Noel's wife a few times over the years didn't help.
There are actually several factors that played a part in the reunion: (1) Noel getting a divorce (think of his ex-wife as the Yoko Ono of Oasis getting back to together), (2) Noel having to stroke an 8-figure check to said ex-wife (this is probably a HUGE factor), (3) Noel gets his Oasis publishing rights back within the next year or so and is setting this all up for a nice sell, (4) his last album (which he thought is some of his best work to date) sold like 20 copies, (5) Liam selling out Knebworth by himself in 2022 (which I'm sure pissed Noel off), and (6) Liam becoming a little more chilled out with age and more importantly, taking care of himself and getting his old voice back.
Perhaps most interesting in all of this is how much the younger kids LOVE Oasis....I went to the LG show in Manchester last year, and probably over half the crowd there were not even born yet when they wrote Wonderwall lol. I'm expecting the same thing with the reunion tour. The kids are mad fer it too.

plentiful on secondary sites.
Well that’s news to me since I thought they weren’t going to be allowing that. I might be there with ya at the Sunday show!

Add to fact that the kids were NOT showing up like that for High Flying Birds. As much as Noel was responsible for the music, they’re just another band with some good tunes without Liam being the RnR Star. There is no mystique around the band, their relationship, etc without Liam’s fingers pushing Boel’s buttons (to quote supersonic doc).

I would have bet that Noel would have had the bigger solo career but Liam is the rock n roll star and brings the swag and excitement to the music

I think Noel definitely was having the bigger career for awhile. But Liam is also pretty popular on X for his willingness to banter with regular folks.
Liam was a wild kid/dude but he’s a lot more relatable than most megastars. A lot of people have a bit of shite talking rowdiness in them. He’s just a working class guy at heart who hit it big.

Looking forward to hearing everyone’s stories. I have a feeling once I get back from UK I’m going to be buying secondary market tix to Chicago or LA or NY just to do it all again

Same
My kids quote the onstage banter from knebworth and familiar to millions so I may end up taking them in the fall.
Safe travels everyone. Sitting in Miami airport right now.

What day are yall going to Manchester? I’m on the 11th with a buddy. If anyone else is and wants to bunch together in a little group to stake a little spot and make it easier to hold down while one goes the the restroom or get a beer I’m down!

One drummer: Joey Waronker.
Columbia has be subbed in for Bring It Down as some point. There was a definite lull during BIOD.
Man, seeing Liam raise Noel’s hand on the way on stage and Noel so emotional was heartening. Small interactions between the two gave me hope they’ll finish the tour and possibly extend to 2026. Joey seemed off but he’ll get better. True professional. Bonehead was excellent and the third guitar helped make the songs sound so full and meaty. Wow, I cannot wait to see them. Hopefully Liam’s voice holds out!

Weds unfortunately. I’m trying my hardest to avoid any video too, I’m okay reading reviews but I want to see and hear it for myself first time

frick Liam. I have a bit of respect for Neil.
Turns out Blur wiped the floor with Oasis in the music annals.

Downvoter, explain yourself, if you'd be so kind.

I’ve always been a casual fan of oasis but this reunion has me intrigued
I do agree with the poster above that this will stoke the fire and they will see those dollars in their bank account and this will be a normal thing. Maybe not a full-blown tour, but they can always set a dozen dates every year and play whenever the hell they want.
Can someone give me a 30 second explanation of which brother is usually more liked and think is the more levelheaded? I always see them on interviews and honestly, I can’t tell them apart.
