Not into heavy metal but still like slipknot

Any other band of the genre I don't like, but every now and then I get in a slipknot mood, I can't be the only preppy kid that thinks slipknot is a legit good band am I?

I wouldn't say Slipknot is death metal. They have a singer who is talented and is understandable when he yells. I like them as well. Just listened to Iowa the other day.

Slipknot is one of my favorite bands. They aren't death metal. The Subliminal Verses volume. 3 is a great album IMO and shows off their range. Vermilion pt. 2 and Pulse of the Maggots are probably my favorite songs from that album.

they are certainly heavy, but not death metal... and they are a very good live band.

I would actually consider slipknot more on the nu metal side and like other nu metal bands, i like to keep them where they belong...1999

If you like slip knot then you should listen to mudvayne.
