New Witch Hunt and Acquisition [Bass Guitar-related]

My 4-string Squier Jaguar has been collecting dust lately as I've lost interest in performing and recording music. I finally decided to put it up for sale to acquire my first 5-string in hopes it would inspire me to play again. This probably won't impress most gearheads, but I intentionally set out to find the most simple set up out there that was still a quality instrument. No more active eq, knobs, etc. Just a light, simple, passive, two-knob setup--business only.
