Bishop Gunn (now broken up)
, when this happen. I came across their song Shine and I can play that 10 times in a row. Really started liking these guys

Early 2020 right after opening for Slash oversees and the Rolling Stones in Houston. They had a new CD in the can that never got released until the summer of 2021 (Gypsy Cadillac). Good stuff.

The lead singer, Travis McCready is doing solo stuff....really talented guy and worth a follow on facebook (if that's your thing) or just an occasional visit to his page. He does a live acoustic set every Tuesday for almost 2 years now. Also, a bunch of stuff on Youtube if interested.

Looks like I may be headed to N.O. later this month. I've been very high on JW since I stumbled upon them back in 2019. Very good rock band.

I'm going to try and catch Them Dirty Roses at SideTracks Music Hall in Huntsville on May 28 as well.

i'll be at the HOB on the 30th....not sure who "Dorothy" is that they are opening for. Saw Them Dirty Roses a couple of months ago in Natchez....a good show for sure.

I think you'll like Dorothy. They're not bad for a rock band with female vocals. White Butterfly is my fav song by them. And they have a few others worth listening to, but nothing that'll blow you away or anything. Never seen them live, but I'm sure they'll be fine to open.

Personally, I'd love to see Bishop Gunn reunite and go on tour with Them Dirty Roses and Dirty Honey. But, that'll probably never happen.

I appreciate this thread. I'm an old classic rock guy but I would like to hear some new stuff just to mix it up some. There's plenty of suggestions here so I'm probably going to be spending some time going down a YouTube rabbit hole. Thanks
