Very good write-up. This album will be a grower for some. I feel like people's opinions are going to improve with each listen, but that's just a hunch.

Extremely generous. At best this album is a 7. I'd honestly give it a 5, but I can understand how others may like it more. To act like it's an amazing album is laughable, though.

It's a pretty great album and I don't think that's laughable at all. I'd give it a 9.

What if someone honestly thinks it's amazing though? Isn't that as valid of an opinion as yours? Just because that happens to agree with the music magazine reviews doesn't make it "laughable".

I honestly love this album, and not because I *wanted* to...I just do. I hated King of Limbs. Still don't like it.

Don't understand why people can't just give their opinion and move on, without calling someone else's ridiculous or laughable.

I'm not a fanboy. I disliked The King of Limbs and I haven't enjoyed other Radiohead related projects. I just recognize this as a cohesive, beautiful, and organic piece of work. It's unlike anything they've ever done. I'm also into modern classical stuff (A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Nils Frahm, etc) so this stuff hits the spot.

That's the cool thing about Radiohead. IMO, most of these songs are meh, but almost every song they record ends up getting a major face lift in order to fit a live performance (or in my skeptical opinion, to give the other 3 something to do). So seeing what they do with these songs will be interesting.

I've only listened twice so far, so I don't really have any concrete opinions, but Decks Dark and Identikit have stood out the most thus far.

Poor man's imitation of U2, if you ask me, except, U2 didn't make crappy movie music.

This is really holding up for me after a handful of listens... I think it will be even more enjoyable in the fall.

It has really grown on me after the first listen.

I'm starting to think this album will end up rivaling Kid A
