On first listen and then some, I really like this album; it's very well done. Daydreaming is probably the weakest song

It's not as bad as King of Limbs.

Many of the songs feel like Nude from In Rainbows. It's a good song but I'd wish the album was a little more dynamic and had more changes of pace. Burn the Witch is awesome, but the rest of the album is pretty slow.

I really like it. Less of an electronic sound, which is nice.

I did the iTunes 2 minute samples, and I hate to say I want none of this.

Good album, 2 or 3 legit songs and lots of tinkering otherwise but I dug it all for the most part.
Not top shelf but not bottom either

I'm going to Spotify this before purchasing.
Maybe not....

The album is also absent from Spotify, which is notable considering Thom Yorke's disdain for the service. A representative for Spotify shared a statement with Billboard in response to the album's absence from the service. “Radiohead's new singles 'Burn the Witch' and 'Daydreaming' are already available on Spotify, and we look forward to making the rest of A Moon Shaped Pool available on Spotify as soon as we can.”
In 2013, Yorke and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich pulled their music from Spotify in protest of the streaming service's business model. “The reason is that new artists get paid frick all with this model. It's an equation that just doesn't work,” Godrich tweeted. “Make no mistake new artists you discover on #Spotify will not get paid. meanwhile shareholders will shortly being rolling in it,” Yorke tweeted. In an interview, Yorke called Spotify “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse.”

Started a trial account with tidal and will give the album a fair shake.

Full listen. Liked it better but still not sold on if this is something I want to buy.
I don't really get why we needed another version of True Love Waits. I'd love for them to give a solid try to Big Boots, but maybe they're completely over that one.

Very pretty album from start to finish. The depth is unparalleled by most music made today, so many layers of music on top of each other. Of the 5 stages of Grief, I would say this album is the sad acceptance of the way things are, but with shimmers of hope that humanity can still change. Not one song gets my excited or lifts me up, but none of the songs are supposed to do that. Like I said, very pretty album, but what Radiohead made, the emotions they convey (and they do a fantastic job of that), is not why I generally listen to music.
ETA: I really felt like I was wondering around in a dream of PTA that he used as the basis for a film with zero dialogue.

I know a lot of fans jumped ship with Kid A and Amnesiac, and these last two albums might be that for me. Just not excited for any of these tracks, even though I can admit they are really pretty. There are moments, but I'm not buying this.
It just seems lately that this band has become the Thom Yorke self-idulgence experiment. I can't even pick out any backing vocals from Ed anymore.

Yeah, I'm still not sure on this one. I bought KOL limited LP with newspaper. The packaging and everything was cool, but I never spin it. I'm still trying to decide if this is worth the purchase.

Radiohead offers fans an interesting experience. On one hand, they are creative enough to consistently give fans a new experience. That is, each album takes on a different feel than the previous one. While I can appreciate the creativity and willingness to try new things, it's hard to please everyone when each new project has an unique vibe. I don't feel like there are any weak tracks per se, but there's also not many stand outs.
I like this album a lot. It's slower than what I expected and hoped for, but I think it's very well done and pleasant sounding. It's not something I envision playing a ton, but I really like how straightforward the lyrics are and how cohesively the songs fit together. It reminds me most of In Rainbows, but it lacks tracks like 15 Step and Bodysnatchers to break up the monotony of the slower songs.

Its a slow album for sure.
I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, I do wish it had some faster paced stuff.
I'm kind of disappointed upon first listen.

Meh. You might jump off the ship, but plenty are staying and jumping on, and that is because this is quality music. It sucks that you can't get into it, but that doesn't mean that the musical depth isn't there.
