I believe they just announced its release yesterday. Anyway, you can stream the new album right now on various platforms, or from this article - LINK

Every now and then there’s a moment of brightness, an actual good thing, that alleviates the darkness of the wretched year that is 2020. This is one of those good things. Just days after news of its existence crept out, there’s a new Fleet Foxes album out in the world. It’s called Shore, and it comes with a 55-minute film that’s also called of the same name, directed by Kersti Jan Werdal. Both are here now, on the timely occasion of the autumn equinox.

Looking forward to listening to it.

Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, Deftones....pretty big week for new releases.

listened to first 3 songs, and so far this is incredible. I did not like their last record, so when I received the email this morning about this one I was not excited.

What a come back! Plan to finish it off on my drive home this evening.

I haven't been too thrilled after the fist few listens like you. It's not bad, but nothing captures me like their first EP and LP.

I'll give it a few more listens. I do like the addition of horns in many of the songs.

I always want to build a campfire in the woods, and comb through my beard when I listen to the FF.

I didn’t hate Crack-Up. It had some great moments, but it was definitely my least favorite of theirs. Just a little too dense and complex. Helplessness Blues is actually my favorite of their albums thus far. Sounds like Shore will be up my alley from what I have read about it online.

Upon first listen, sounds exactly like their other stuff. Not really a criticism, and I'm not completely versed in their catalog. My friend is obsessed with them so I pretty much only listen to them when he's around.

Really dig A Long Way Past the Past

Looks like I'll be ordering the VMP pressing

I thought Crack-Up was their best album and possibly the best rock album since OK Computer. I love all their stuff, but I’m glad they didn’t just sink into that new “ Americana” mold entirely. I look forward to hearing this one.

I just hope it’s not full of shitty whisper singing like the last album.
