Any Ben Booker fans? New song - its a politically driven one, but i think if you read the letter attached to the roll out of it, its a pretty reasonable one for him to be releasing.

i still dont get why i dont see his name on venues around NOLA for some club shows.

I've seen him at Hogs for the Cause and at One Eye Jacks. I think he toured for a long time and even opened for Jack White for a few national shows. Pretty sure he just hasn't been playing shows for awhile, probably while he was taking some time off from touring to record the new album.

hes played a few shows (as you mentioned Hogs, and ive seen him at voodoo-and out of town at fests- opened a one off for someone in town at the civic, and i noticed the OEJ).... but im surprised we dont see him in town and playing smaller venues as a headliner a bit more often. just that OEJ show within the last several years that i recall.

I really like BB. Saw him a couple years ago here in Dallas and he put on a great show. He's surprisingly funny and entertaining between songs too.
