Beautiful voice and great songwriter. Her last album, “Hell-On,” is an all-timer for me.

Saw her live 10 years. And love many of her songs. One of a kind voice for sure. Don’t bust out your camera phone she gets pissed LOL.

Just so happens she was on the radio as I drove up after lunch. I just can't get into her solo stuff, but love many of hers with The New Pornographers.

I saw her in Laffy a couple years ago, and she insisted on the audience wearing masks because one of her crew/band was “compromised.”
Still, it was a great show.
Also, I've learned to be a bit more discreet with my phone after Colin Hay chewed me out at the Manship Theater a few years ago.

I'm a fan of her period with Neko Case and her Boyfriends. Country punk is always fun. And Fox Confessor has some great stuff too (John Saw that Number and Maybe Sparrow esp). Have not heard any New Pornographers, maybe need to check that out. If I was anywhere near NO I'd go.
