Need help: This song reminds me of another one by another band

Listen to the first 10-25 seconds of the guitar riff on the song below, or just the first 10 seconds, what song does that remind y'all of?
This song was posted on the OT and has been driving me nuts on what song/band it reminded me of.
Any ideas? tia
Edit: I think the song I'm thinking about is at least 5 years old or more, nothing recent.

Definitely not rap or pop rock. I've only heard the song on rock/hard rock stations.

I'm not talking about 5FDP, but the freaking band/song I can't remember....I just hear that guitar riff and how the guy sings, not the exact words. Frustrating!

Check days of the new. The downtown or Touch, Peel, Stand is the song title. Tantric has a song called breakdown which sounds a bit like yours.

I thought it had a Breaking Benjamin vibe but cant nail down the exact song
So Cold has a similar riff but ts not the same
