The video is annoying, but the song is incredible. He's not suffering a sophomore slump if this song is any indication of the new record in September.

Yeah it really is a great debut record. I was expecting a slight letdown, but this first song is very good. Gives me hope.
Neal has talent for sure. We are going to see him open for BlackBerry Smoke in October, and I’m looking forward to his set more than theirs.

He’s a piano trained musician out of Chicago who grew up listening to New Orleans jazz and funk. Go check out his first record “Changes.” It bleeds New Orleans all over the place, and it’s excellent. He’s someone who needs to get more exposure, because once people listen they will be fans.

This ended up being a separate show in the parish room at HOB, which was great.
