How much T&A is going to be in this movie? You know, for the sake of authenticity.

Haven’t seen it so I really can’t say but I’ve read it’s going to be real “authentic”. Let that sink in...

Rumor has it it's going to kick off with the Tommy Lee squirter story.

Makes sense, that's how the book starts.

I saw the Crue w/ GNR in 87 in Mobile, and 90 w/ Lita Ford in Biloxi.

frick me - that's like 4 weeks away.

It's upon us. I almost have enough time to re-read the book to get ready, but we have to start our GoT rewatch this weekend.

Counting down the days.

I’ve been a Crue fan since the very early days, when Too Fast For Love was first released (I’m old). When the Livewire video was released I used to stay up late at nights hoping to see it on MTV (a television station that used to play music videos - I’m old), and finally one night at 2 a.m. I was able to record it on VCR (I’m old). Right after that, it got banned from MTV for being too “satanic”. That VCR recording was like gold after the ban - everyone in the neighborhood wanted to see it.

My brother had some Nikki Sixx blood. The first time they played N.O. and opened for Ozzy, Niiki, Tommy, Sharon, Jake E. Lee and some others were at The Dungeon (when it was still a biker bar, not a tourist or hipster hangout (I’m old). An argument/fight ensued with some bad hombres and Nikki got stabbed in the hand and left the club cursing and bleeding. Witnessing the timely exit, my brother and his friends found napkins or paper or whatever they could find on the street and soaked up some Nikki blood as a souvenir.

Last saw Crue around 6 years ago when they co-headlined with KISS in the Dallas area. Saw 300 lb Vince just a couple months ago playing Crue tunes at the IP Casino.

I remember back around 1982 watching “USA’s Heavy Metal Heroes” on the USA Network on 1980’s cable tv late on Friday nights and they would always show the Live Wire video. That show was similar to “Night Flight” except they only showed videos.

Yeah, Vince is a frickin’ whale. I’ve seen him solo in recent years at Coushatta Casino in Kinder and @ Hard Rock in Biloxi and his physical appearance and voice nowadays pretty much sucks.

Vince is bloated from years of heavy alcohol abuse.

Not trying to be rude, but what demographic does this appeal to?

Seriously? Well, because the Crue was founded in ‘81 and were huge throughout the 80’s,suffered a decline in popularity throughout the 90’s due to instability within the band and changing musical trends, and then enjoyed a huge resurgence from 2005 to the present based on fan demand........

They’re a Generation X thing.

I listen to the first two albums every couple of months. Great stuff, reminds me of my misspent youth.
