Somebody had too many Sour Ales and decided to flame the board before bed? Now he is probably laying in bed hungover reading these on his phone and laughing while sipping Pedialyte.

No replies yet to defend position is highly suspicious.

Silver Wings? Haggard write that? That song is great. And would have been great in any decade.

Willie= Country Bob Dylan. Writing, weed, poor voice, guitar ability in younger years.

Waylon I only knew as a child because of the Dukes of Hazard.

I'm failing to see where Zappa said he didn't like Merle Haggard or his songs?

I said my piece. But yes, I do like Merle. But listening to a large chunk of his catalog including live shows where he talked a lot lead me to this opinion. And I was drinking IPAs.

Haggard road a train from Oregon in the refrigerated car because it was warmer. He did many of the things he sang about.

People enjoyed his music so he kept writing about it. Where's the difference between he and willow or Waylon?

Haggard was outlaw country.

My hat don't hang on the same nail too long
My ears can't stand to hear the same old song
An' I don't leave the highway long enough to bog down in the mud
'Cos I've got ramblin' fever in my blood
I caught this ramblin' fever long ago
When I first heard a lonesome whistle blow
If someone said I ever gave a damn, the damn sure told you wrong
I've had ramblin' fever all along
