I know it's kinda hard to argue that it's underrated, since it's universally acclaimed, but I honestly feel like it's the best rock album of the '90's. They laid the groundwork for so many of the "alternative" bands that became popular in that decade. That album was a total game changer.

I love the hell out of it but my go-to for MBV over the last year or two has been the EP 1988-1991 compilation. I can't get enough of that one.

i agree. its odd though as it was cobbled together EPs.
Its definitely in my top 5 albums of all time. Two others are from the 90s too thought - perfect from now on and ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space

It's in my all-time top 5-top 10. There's not much else that sounds like it.

It's an amazing album. I've never heard an album sound more like its album cover looks either. If that makes sense.
