Dude you have zero context. Mute math is a very big get for the varsity. It doesn't get a lot of big acts and this and bush are a good start. For fricks sake, the rolling stones arent beating down the doors here or Nola.

I bought Corys first two records but havent kept up with him. How many more does he have out?
my favorite tune was always "crush"
Ive only seen him once before at the Maple Leaf... just him and Ben Nichol's trading acoustic songs. I really liked him a lot, my friend though he was kinda corny.

Damn, we were standing right next to each other!
Him, Ben, his gf me, and some friends spent the day hanging out in Nola and the day after the gig as well. That was a fun three days

Linkin park/incubus/mutemath is a MUCH bigger concert than fricking phish
not sure about that, Doc... maybe to a certain demographic.
Phish sold out 2 nights at Deercreek, 2 nights at Jones Beach, NY, 3 Nights in Atlantic City, 3 nights in San Fran and 2 nights in Denver. Plus the single night stands all over the country. I think Phish will sell far more tickets than Linkin Park this summer.

I was with someone you've already referenced in this thread...

On a national scale, the Honda tour is bigger.
We could check pollstar at the end of the summer and compare.

In terms of percentage of seats sold Phish will beat LP.
Which goes back to this whole argument: quality trumps all

I agree people will always bitch, but you do invite that with your build up...
Creating hype helps sell tickets though, fact

if nothing else this thread has forced me to go check out a new band. Honestly, I'd never really checked out Mutemath before.
I've heard of them. A guy I work with is a big fan. But he's a douchebag and mainly listens to mainstream pop stuff, which I generally don't care for. So I always assumed I wouldn't like them.
I'd go to the show if I were still in BR.

I'm the same way. This is the first time I've bothered giving them a listen. I would most definitely go if I were in BR.

"Typical" is probably my favorite song of theirs. I work out to it and it really gets me energized.

The new album has a really black keys feel to it. It's really good.

Phish is boring jam band music for people who do a ton of drugs.
Mutemath are better songwriters and better performers as well

I'd have to disagree, Trey is one of the greatest alive....
