Going on right now in Steamboat. Looks like a really interesting festival to catch some Red Dirt and Texas Country. Anybody ever been? Texas Music Pickers Facebook page and 95.9 The Ranch have both been sharing some pretty awesome videos the last few days.

Yes, I’ve been three times.

It’s badass and I would recommend anyone who is able to go to do so. It’s hard to get in though. I never did the booking but from what I have been told you have to call on a certain day and just hope you get through before the reservations fill up.

It's a great festival. The hardest part is getting tickets and they sellout fairly quickly, especially if you do not buy them with their lodging/ski packages. It's super laid back and most of the venues are walking distance from each other (Some in the same building). There is nothing better than finishing your day of skiing and immediately walking into a live show at the bottom of the mountain before you even put your skis up.

Mile 0 fest in key west is so much better. Only allow 3500 people.
