I haven't heard enough of the guy to have an opinion of him, only heard the few that got big airplay on the radio when I was younger.
eta: He just rocked pretty hard to open the US open so that's what inspired the op.

When Let Love Rule came out in 89', I was like 'damn this is unique and I'm feeling it'. I was expecting big things for him from my perspective and he quickly went down hill. I realize he gained great commercial success, but by far my fave was Let Love Rule. He never recaptured that feel of that album. I gave up on him about 4 albums ago.

Dude can jam. I like him because he doesn't always use conventional instruments for his studio recordings. He's been known to use Heineken bottles and rubber bands and stuff to get the effect he needs. ARE YOU GONNA GO MY WAY
LINK is my favorite song that he has ever done and the chick drummer for that song is badass.

My dad had like a MTV Buzz Bin cassette; AYGGMW was my first Lenny experience. That song is ageless. I still hear it from time to time.

Definite fan of Lenny. He has evolved over time. Always seems to put out something friendly to the ear.

Kravitz puts out solid albums, well-crafted tunes, a true rockstar in every sense of the word, has a really strong Greatest Hits compilation. I like a lot of his tunes, including this very eightiesesque country tinged/metal balladish guitar riff from the mid-nineties. It's dedicated to his mother Roxie Roker(Jefferson's neighbor Helen Willis) whom died in 1995 when it came out.

Underrated. Very talented guy, and puts out some quality stuff. Nothing earth shattering, but pleasant music that's fun to listen to
