this one has been debated here before. I like them both but personally I go with Oasis. What say the Music Board?
week 1: Barry Manilow defeated Michael Bolton
week 2: Simon and Garfunkel defeated Hall and Oates
week 3: Sir Elton John defeated Billy Joel

Oasis by a good margin. It was entertaining to see the Gallagher brothers get in their little spat with Damon Albarn over the years. Then again, who didn't the Gallagher's fight?

Blur. Best overall career. All of their music is quality, and continued to release top notch albums late in their career (i.e., 13, and Think Tank). And their new track for Olympics is solid as well.
Oasis has the two best albums with Definitely, Maybe and What's the Story. But their future releases were mostly good. Not great. Blur's were great.

I choose Blur... More talent, better written songs, and easier to listen to.
Oasis makes me want to take a soldering iron to my ears. They are a band made up of juvenile men who overly obsess about the beatles, yet have none of their talent, ability, or songwriting skills... And that takes a lot for me to say because I don't much like the beatles either
inb4 "anyone who doesn't like the beatles, doesn't like music"

Oasis used to be my band too. All through jr high, and freshman yr of high school. Then Standing On the Shoulders came out and it was mediocre as frick.
I got into Blur during college and went through all of their stuff. It's amazing to me just how little air-time they received in America outside of Song 2, which is such a weak track IMO.

"Whats the Story Morning Glory" was/is an incredible record....They are both good bands
But the epicness of that record, the Gallaghers public fued & Liams total disregard for anything and not giving a shite about anything (which is pretty ROCK&ROLL) puts Oasis over the top for me
Answer = Oasis

Blur. Oasis is kinda like coldplay to me. like in the gay way

Definitively Blur. Parklife is better than Definitely Maybe, The Great Escape is better than What's the story, and Blur destroys Oasis when comparing any other album past that.
