They're headlining a neighborhood music festival at the end of our block today. Normally I'm not really into jam bands, but this music festival always has been a pretty good time no matter who plays. Any Moe fans on here? I'm guessing it would be the same folks that are into Phish/WSP/SCI.
I just hope they don't put the crowd to sleep.

quote:I fux wit moe. They are a fun band to see. Very high energy jams. The Warts And All live albums are all pretty good if you wanted an idea what they sound like.
Any Moe fans on here?
If you like rock you'll probably enjoy them. They aren't the type that just does mindless noodling for 15 minutes.
What festival is it?

LoHi MF. It's a real small one, they close down a 2 or 3 block stretch of street in the neighborhood and do the festival every year. There's one bar within the enclosed festival that I believe is the one that puts it on.

That looks pretty cool. What part of Denver is it held?

Another band whose name derives from mdma, but, unlike the shitty Biscuits, MOE.is actually very good. Just saw them at Wanee. If the weather is good where you are you will absolutely dig them.
Go and enjoy.

Highlands, just across the river from downtown.
ETA: and the weather couldn't be better this weekend. About to go play some tennis, then do a little local brewery cruiser crawl with some friends for a couple hours, then we're riding back here to put all the bikes up in our backyard and hit the festival. Great day ahead.

I've seen them twice, they're pretty good. A little emotionless, but I dig it

highly recommend it. Wasn't a huge fan before seeing them at Wanee but was pleasantly surprised.

Seen them several times going back to 1997. Good band, can be hit or miss. Sometimes jam for the sake of jamming.
They're new album is great, fwiw.
