I'd rather wait and see them in a year or two. They'll probably be playing a setlist that's got a lot of the latest album, which I liked initially, but it just had no staying power for me. In the past, the've played more balanced setlist after the latest album has been out for a while.

This is Shreveport. We take a band like that when we can get them. Hopefully there's a good crowd for them.

I'm not very familiar with Shreveport, how big is this venue? Anyone have an opinion on if it will sellout?

If you're a music history fan, you should become familiar with the venue.

I'm not sure if it will sell out or not. When Jack White played there a couple of years ago, it didn't sell out for a long time when other cities were selling out in an hour.

I thought sold out fairly quickly.

I misread your post, thought you said it didn't sell out at all.

It is significant for hosting the Louisiana Hayride radio program, hosted by Frank Page (1925-2013).[6] During its heyday, from 1948 to 1960, the program spawned the careers of some of the greatest names in American Country and Rockabilly music. The Hayride regularly featured performers, such as Hank Williams, Slim Whitman, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton, and Elvis Presley, who got his start at this venue.[7]

Looks pretty nice especially for its age.

Looks a little big for Modest Mouse. I doubt it'll sell out.

I saw Modest Mouse at HoB in NO somewhere between 2006-10 while I was at LSU. I went with a friend who was really into them, and I wasn't expecting to love it. Still today, it was one of the better concerts I've been to — they were awesome.
