Mis-Titled songs

Was listening to "Please Come to Boston" by Dave Loggins and thought how he missed the mark by a mile on the song title. The first part of the song is about Boston. The second is about Denver. The third is about LA.. The whole theme is about a dude traveling around and trying to get his girlfriend back home in Tennessee to come live with him wherever he happens to be at the time. She says no every time and tells him to get his arse home.
The refrain is repeated throughout the song.
"Ramblin boy why don't you settle down. Cause ______ ain't your kind of town. There ain't no gold and there ain't nobody like me. I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee."
WTF! Song should be titled "Ramblin Boy."

Every song doesn't have to be named after the hook

True. A Day in The Life is a perfect example.
But, I don't get Baba O'Rielly.

I managed record stores for years and I can tell you my job would have been a lot easier if songs were consistently titled after the most identifiable passage or phrase. People would come in and request "Major Tom" by David Bowie or "Thunder Only Happens" by Fleetwood Mac or "Son of a Bitch" by Nazareth, etc. And if you didn't already know what the song was you'd be off wasting time on a wild goose chase.

D’yer Mak’er is confusing on many levels. But what would you name that song? "Oh oh oh oh oh oh"?

A lot of Zeppelin songs. ...I should say the handful that they didn't rip off from someone else.
