I have not been to Manship, but it seems like a weird venue for them. Tickets are also higher than I’m used to ($49.95-$69.95).

Any word on an opener or when it actually starts?

Gf and I are driving over from Laffy to attend with a couple of friends that invited us and purchased the tickets. I’m kinda curious myself. Not really sure what to expect. All I know is show starts at 7:30.

Sure wish they were playing at the Varsity or Chelsea’s. But certainly better than at Red Dragon where the expectation is to sit down and be quiet.

chelseas is a better venue for a raucous honky tonk band. it's red dragons show at the manship and the tickets are by far the most expensive on their entire tour. from looking at the venues seats remaining it looks like they roughly have 100 tickets remaining of the 325 seats.

I like the manship theatre a lot for watching shows but it depends on the band's energy. they are a band that people dance to, not sit down on their butts.

the opener is cumberland county. they are from BR and are pretty good but IMO don't really fit the vibe of M&tMP.

maybe next time through they'll play at chelseas where people can move around.

I have 3 tickets available for tonight if anybody wants them. Middle balcony.

Daughter's rec softball team has messed around and won too many games and is still playing. Can't make it as I'm the idiot who volunteered to coach.

Free to a good home as they are just going to go to waste.

First time seeing the Moonpies and the show was fantastic. Also first time seeing a show at the Manship and I thought it was also fantastic. The sound in there was first class. I could tell the crowd wanted to dance and get a little rowdy but we all still had fun in the seated setup.

Totally agree. They are great but having an old lady tell me to sit down and be quiet at Red Dragon was a bummer.

Saw them at the La. Grandstand in Shreveport last Saturday. Helluva show. Second time seeing them and they didn’t disappoint. Grandstand is a pretty cool venue too.
