Wow, now that’s a band I haven’t thought about in a long time. I actually saw them in Chicago at Metro back in the mid 2000s I think. I do remember having a great time at the show, and Emily Haines having very sexy legs back then.
Just looked up their discography, and I must’ve seen the show when they were touring Live it Out, because I don’t think I’ve listened to anything other than their first two albums. Will listen to both of those again today. Will be a fun trip down memory lane.
Emily Haines also put out a solo album shortly after Live it Out called Knives Don’t Have Your Back that I actually really like.

Check out "Art of Doubt" from a couple years back. They still got it.

"Crowd surf off a cliff....! Land out on the ice."
Love that album too.
We've seen them 4x in Nashville. Its our adopted band. Got to meet them last time they were here in 2019.
I gave Rockefeller Center a copy of Clone to play on the ice rink at Christmas when I proposed. Wife tears up every time she hears it.

Saw them at Republic in NOLA back in ‘09. One of my favorite shows I’ve been to. I’ve seen them a few times, but Emily had off the chart energy that night. Combat Baby sing-a-long for the encore was very fun!

emily still has off-the-charts energy. i don't think she's aged a bit. (see pic above from 2019)
already got tickets for them at brooklyn bowl here in nashville in september.
they're not going to NOLA this time but they are doing dallas, houston & austin.
eta the first metric concert i went to was oct 2010 and that was also the first date with my wife
she's still beautiful but now i'm just old and fat. This post was edited on 6/8/22 at 8:22 am

Idk if I knew of them before Scott Pilgrim but this song slaps. I also didn't know Brie Larson actually sang. I thought it was a lip-sync.
