I don't think they sound anything like Deftones. Static Tensions has some cool songs though.

They dont sound anything at all like Deftones. More of a stoner metal/ sludge sound. Two drummers rock! Also that chick is pretty good. Seen them live opening for Mastodon, they took everyone by suprise.

they are a great band... but i would compare them to baroness, torche, maybe high on fire before i used deftones

I missed that tribute. Kinda cool to get a band like Kylesa to do a tribute to PF. Total opposite sounding.

Not sure why the link refuses to work, but here's the Amazon page for the album. dredg does a damn good version of Astronomy Domine and Circle's version of Rats is pretty awesome.
