i think we're straying off the 'happy path' of early MTV 80s with some of these like rigor mortis but if we're throwing skinny puppy up, shout out to my favorite song by far.

WARNING: you might just want to listen to the song and not watch the video

eta frick that video. i'm removing it and putting this one on instead.

01:33 Sea of Love - The Honeydrippers
06:37 Synchronicity I - The Police
09:56 No More Lonely Nights - Paul McCartney
17:22 The War Song - Culture Club
21:15 I Just Called To Say I Love You - Stevie Wonder
29:45 Jungle Love - Morris Day & The Time
32:58 We Are the Young - Dan Hartman
41:01 Private Reel tribute to Daryl Hall & John Oates (several snippets of their videos and an interview)
54:26 Eat Your Heart Out - Xavion
1:00:07 You're My Choice Tonight (Choose Me) - Teddy Pendergrass

Falco should have gotten credit for their first hit but "After The Fire" remade it and topped the charts instead.

AtF was better, so hard to fuss too much.
