Listened to it a few times, and I like it, but rap album of the year is quite the stretch. It's a solid album, but no where near the quality as GKMC or probably even Nas's effort.

Mehh. GKMC was good but IMO D&N was better. Guess it kinda depends on the type of rap you like. K Dot is very lyrical and thoughtful on his album but you can feel Meek's life and soul on his tracks (aside from the obvious Commercial Hit type records, which also lack on GKMC). But D&N does jam & will probably be heard around a lot more than GKMC.
