I really like the 80s sound with Brent. Check out 7/17/89 at Alpine Valley as a place to start on that era.

Also, check out Veneta, OR 8/27/72

When she strikes, you will know...

You will be 8 minutes into a phenomenal groove thinking " holy crap, these guys are smokin' it", and then out of left field, she strikes--and then you will have the sad.

So, today I am in the car for about 4 hours and put on the GD channel on Sirius and they are in the middle of the daily live show (1972--forgot exact date). I am listening for about 5 minutes or so and the band begins to play "Playin'", and I am enjoying a nice jam...

...and then it happened.

Ruined. eff Donna.
