Manchester Orchestra New Album

Manchester Orchester comes out with a new album later in April. Very curious to see how they follow up on Black Mile. Will it revert back to some of their earlier stuff or be completely different? They are putting out some great stuff as of late.

I think I may have expected too much out of this album, as I'm a little disappointed so far. I'll keep listening. I think I was expecting another "Mile to the Surface" masterpiece-type album or something.

Have they announced concert dates yet? They were supposed to be in Nola last April before everything shut down.

I'll have half of the songs on repeat for awhile. The other half are throwaways as of now, but MO has the ability to write songs that don't click for me for a long time and then, poooof!

Like Black Mile this gets better the more times you listen to it. I think it takes time to understand and make sense of the lyrics and once you do then you have a greater appreciation of what they put down.
