I've been watching these shows since they came out. I find them pretty intriguing. They talk about the development of certain metal genres, who has been influential, who has evolved into something different, who helped create it, etc.
Pretty interesting.

Its pretty interesting if you want a history of metal. Each episode covers a different genre.

I may listen to 75% the genres discussed, but the depth they provide in discussions just intrigues me. I have no interest to listen to some of these covered (black metal, death metal, etc.). Still interesting.

Dissection showed up in Blackened Death. They did say not enough Melodic Black Metal bands.
