They have been touring the past couple of years. Good show. It's a sing along.

How wrong is it that I get them confused with The Atlanta Rhythm Section?

ARS had that 400-lb bassist.

Was coming to post the same thing. That's the Little River Band I prefer. They had a good run for 4 or 5 albums, but they slowly got a little more adult contemporary with each release. And of course nowadays, they're quite literally a completely different band, lol...

I love the soft rock of the 70s. Little River Band and Ambrosia are among my favorites.

Reminiscing might be the GOAT adult contemporary/yacht rock song.

Saw them live in the 80's. Twin lead guitarist and spot on harmony. Great musicians, good songwriters, very good band. Long Way There is easily a top 100 pop/rock track.

I'm pretty sure I saw them in Shreveport sometime in the late 70s but was apparently too stoned to remember it.

Definitely up there.

I would say

Exile's -Kiss you all Over
Player''s -Baby Come Back
Ambrosia's- How Much I Feel
Christoper Cross -Sailing
Hall & Oates- Sarah Smile
England Dan-Nights are Forever Without You
Robbie Dupree- Steal Away
Seals & Croft- Summer Breeze
Robert John-Sad Eyes

Make a hell of a short play list

Walter Egan- Magnet and Steel
Pure Prairie League- Let Me Love You Tonight
Gerry Rafferty- Right Down the Line
Paul Davis- Cool Night

Y'all forgot the 2nd best song "Night Owl"

There hasn't been an original or "original replacement" in the band for years. Not a single Australian for over a decade. I'm pretty sure it's all third/fourth generation replacements.

But I love LRB.

My dad was a young doctor, working ER shifts and other things on top of his normal hospital job to make ends meet. Basically working 80 hour weeks with medical school debt and a wife and a few kids at home. One afternoon, the drummer of the Little River Band was brought in with a huge cut on his foot. My dad ended up stitching it up, and he went on to play their concert that night with a big swollen foot.

It's not my favorite sub-genre, but add...

"So Into You" - Atlanta Rythym Section LINK
"Sentimental Lady" - Bob Welch LINK
"Dreamweaver" - Gary Wright LINK
"Bloody Well Right" - Supertramp LINK

This one is definitely worth watching. Live version of...

"Year Of The Cat" - Al Stewart LINK

With an absolutely phenomenal trumpet solo at the end. Don't get to say that often.
