The best record store ever I spent many a Friday afternoon after class, looking at records there before hitting happy hour
Sad to say it’s a cookie store now Chimes Street sure isn’t the same

Dang, haven’t thought about LL in forever.
I spent a lot of time at The Record Rink on College Ave.

Loved the place. Bought Blows Against the Empire by Jefferson Starship there. The album perfectly reflected the spirit of the store. When I made the purchase, the long-haired hippy freak told me, "Fine album."

Basically lived there after classes, too. Bought so many great Import records there that I still listen to today. New Generation on campus was also a gold mine.

Spent a lot of time and money there and then went in the Bayou and spent the rest.
