JTE doesn't have the best voice, but it works with his songwriting style and gives off this image of vulnerability that seems to be a trait of great songwriters (I think of Gram Parsons, Ryan Adams, John Hiatt among others).
He released two new singles for his upcoming album "Kids in the Street." I posted his first single, "Champagne Corolla," in a separate thread.
The first one is called "Faded Valentine," and I really like it. I get a strong Willie Nelson vibe from this one: Faded Valentine
The second is called "There Go a Fool." I like this one as well and it introduces some brass into the music, something uncommon for JTE. I have to think he was inspired by Willie Nelson or maybe Sturgill Simpson's recent album when producing this one: There Go a Fool
I really enjoy JTE's songwriting and think he is pretty underrated. Going to see him May 3rd at Granada Theater in Dallas and can't wait. Hope y'all enjoy.

I really like Harlem River Blues, but haven't gotten into anything else. I'll give these a go.

His live shows are awesome. His picking is borderline god tier.
